LMIG 2019 – Resurfacing Sun Valley Subdivision

Each year the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) notifies all local governments of the upcoming “Local Maintenance Improvement Grant” (LMIG) program, if funding is made available. The LMIG program requires a 30% Local match from the municipality..

This project consists of the milling of existing asphalt and overlaying with new pavement material, and installing new header curb along the following streets:

  • Acapulco Way (Sun Valley Boulevard to Catalina Circle)
  • Capri Court (Sun Valley Boulevard to Dead End)
  • Carmel Drive (Washington Road to Sun Valley Boulevard)
  • Catalina Circle (Acapulco Way to Yates Road)
  • Key W Lane (Sun Valley Boulevard to Palm Springs Drive)
  • Palm Springs Court (Palm Springs Drive to Dead End)
  • Palm Springs Drive (Sun Valley Boulevard to Catalina Circle)
  • Sun Valley Boulevard (Janice Drive to Catalina Circle)
  • Sunset Lane (Sun Valley Boulevard to Palm Springs Drive)
